Why Cyberpunk 's Female V Can't Romance Kerry
Cyberpunk is filled with unique characters and relationships, but for many, it’s the romances that take the cake. The “main” romanceable Cyberpunk characters comprise Judy, Panam, River, and Kerry, each with their own unique perspectives and response based on how the game ends. Many may have assumed that Kerry was gay because he can only be romanced by a completely male V, but the character has always been and still is canonically bisexual.

In gaming, this isn’t as big an issu

While he does mention having a wife, Johnny's reaction seems to imply he isn't known for loving the ladies, and this is only cemented by the truth that you can only get with him yourself if your character is masculine, in both voice and body. But no, in actual fact, he's bisexual, and it was just assumed that the devs forgot about this.
However, according to quest designer, Paweł Sasko, they didn't forget at all. In a recent livestream, Sasko confirmed that Kerry is still bi in - feminine V just "isn't his type". He says this was done in a bid to build sure the bachelors/bachelorettes of Night City weren't "player-sexual", despite the fact this would have made him the only romance who was down to earn with a V of either gender.
