Types of Quality Tube8

Steel pipes come in alternative shapes and sizes. They may serve other purposes and have other features. Quality Tube8 steel pipes also have different standards, wall thicknesses, and diameters.

For tube8 pipes, dimensions such as inner and outer diameters and length are determined by the European standard EN 10255. This standard designates medium-pressure piping systems. Meanwhile, Tube9 pipes follow the American standard ASTM A53. The latter standard defines specifications for black and galvanized medium-pressure piping systems.

The most widely used steels in producing these pipes are Carbon Steel S235-S355 and stainless steel grades 1.0401-1.4401. Others include alloy steels such as 16Mo3 and 13CrMo4. These types are high-strength steels used in structures exposed to very sky-high temperatures and pressures.

These pipes also come in the following diameters: 1/4 inch to 8 inches. Their wall thickness ranges from 2.6 to 12 mm. Thus, they can sustain various fluid mediums and mechanical loads.
